Maybe try this new one I've been liking: invisible ear.

  2. lately it takes a conscious effort to make myself maintain an interest in poetry--reading or writing it. kind of like when i was a music major and i had to force myself to maintain an interest in jazz--playing or listening.

  5. But I'm a cheerleader!

Henry Green might as well have been a poet.

I know what you mean, though - I get weary just looking at the bookshelf.

If you're not pleased with Hoagland this may not be a good recommendation, but I liked Bob Hicok's last four books a lot.
